Management of the Red Gulch Dinosaur Tracksite ACEC under alternatives A, B, and D would be the most effective for protecting the paleontological values of concern, and these alternatives would result in minimal impacts to ROW and minerals development in the area. Alternative C, which does not designate the Red Gulch Dinosaur Tracksite as an ACEC, may result in adverse impacts to the paleontological values of concern. Management under Alternative C would be more beneficial to ROWs and other surface-disturbing activities than alternatives A, B, and D.
