Methods and assumptions used in this impact analysis include the following:
Water consumption in the Bighorn River and the Clarks Fork of the Yellowstone River watersheds may adversely affect surface water quantity in the larger Yellowstone River and Missouri River ecosystem.
Produced water from CBNG drilling is assumed to have a negligible influence on surface water quantity and quality in the Bighorn River and the Clarks Fork of the Yellowstone River watershed due to a low likelihood that CBNG activities would occur at high levels in the Bighorn Basin.
In cooperation with WGFD, the BLM would continue to manage species listed on BLM Wyoming State Director’s Sensitive Species List in accordance with BLM manual 6840 (BLM 2001a).
USFWS would have jurisdiction over the management of threatened and endangered fish and wildlife populations.
