It is the intent of the Bureau of Land Management’s Cody Field Office and Worland Field Office to obtain and maintain consistency between BLM’s Greater Sage-grouse Key Habitat Areas identified in this Resource Management Plan and Environmental Impact Statement and the State of Wyoming’s Sage-grouse Core Areas.

Further, it is likely that as time progresses and development is proposed, conservation measures are implemented, research expands, and climates and habitats change through time, that sage-grouse use of these habitats will also change, necessitating modification of Key and Core Areas.
