Abstract
Coal_Unacceptable Areas: Areas decided in the RMP process where coal mining would be unacceptable.
Purpose
This feature class represents alternative developement for the Uncompahgre Field Office Resource Management Plan Revision. This revision is being conducted in accordance with NEPA Land Use Planning Handbook H-1601-1. The Notice of Intent was published in the Federal Register (https://www.federalregister.gov/articles/2010/02/25/2010-3846/notice-of-intent-to-prepare-a-resource-management-plan-for-the-uncompahgre-field-office-and) on February 25, 2010

These data are for general purposes related to Geographic Information System and mapping applications at small to intermediate geographic scales. Users are cautioned that digital enlargement of these data to scales larger than that at which they were originally mapped can cause misinterpretation.
