Project Description:
This project will promote resilience to primary sagegrouse habitat within an approximately 4,048 acre footprint on the Tavaputs Plateau. Encroaching pinyon-juniper trees will be thinned, shredded and burned utilizing various treatment methods including; thin-pile-burn, lop & scatter bullhog and seeding.
Project Location:
The project is located approximately 15 miles northeast of Sunnyside, UT on the West Tavaputs Plateau, along Cedar Ridge and Cottonwood Ridge. The project vicinity is predominately in the lower half of T13S R16E, (Sec's 13,14 & 21-35)
