What's New  NEW!
Previously Released Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument and Kanab-Escalante Planning Area Proposed Resource Management Plans and Final Environmental Impact Statement to be Modified NEW!

The BLM is modifying the Proposed RMPs/Final EIS for the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument and Kanab-Escalante Planning Area to respond to certain public comments that the BLM received during the Draft EIS public-comment period that were not addressed in the Appendix W-Comment Analysis Report in the Final EIS. The BLM intends to publish a Notice of Error in the Federal Register to inform the public that the BLM has identified, addressed, and resolved an error in the Final EIS. The BLM also intends to provide a 30-day protest period on the modified Proposed RMPs/Final EIS following the publication of the Environmental Protection Agency’s Notice of Availability in the Federal Register for the modified Proposed RMPs/Final EIS.

The public does not need to resubmit previously submitted protests. The BLM will accept protests pertaining to changes identified in the modified Proposed RMPs/Final EIS once this 30-day protest period begins.
