Resource Management Plan Background

This land use plan incorporates 900,000 acres of public lands located northwest of Phoenix, Arizona, and adjacent to the communities of Prescott, Cordes Junction, Wickenburg, and Black Canyon City.  Popular public lands recreation sites in the planning area include Table Mesa, The Boulders, Sophie’s Flat, Hells Canyon Wilderness, and others.

The Bradshaw-Harquahala Record of Decision and Approved Resource Management Plan (ROD/ARMP) is now available on this website. The Bradshaw-Harquahala Land Use Plan was created in conjunction with planning for the Agua Fria National Monument.
