The BLM is also completing a separate EIS that considers the potential withdrawal of the 2015 sagebrush focal areas (SFAs) from location and entry under the Mining Act of 1872. The withdrawal of SFAs was proposed in the 2015 Greater Sage-grouse RMP Amendment and Record of Decision.
