What's New

Mine Plan of Operations Now Available for Public Comment

The Mary Ann Mine Uranium Waste Pile Plan of Operations is available for public comment from May 1 - May 31, 2026. Please click “participate now” to review the document and submit comments.

The BLM expects to expedite the Environmental Analysis for this project under Secretarial Order 3436. Public comment on the mine Plan of Operations is expected to occur in May 2026. Comments will inform federal decision making as the BLM works through its multiple-use mission to expand access to critical minerals vital to America’s energy infrastructure and long-term economic strength via public lands.
