Project Description

Amador County wants to embark on a comprehensive phased improvement initiative for the 27-acre Pioneer Park in Pioneer, California. The park, situated on and adjacent to Bureau of Land Management (BLM) property, has been a vital recreational space for residents. Recognizing the need for enhancements and addressing deferred maintenance issues, the county aims to elevate the park's amenities, focusing on areas such as ADA accessibility, environmental improvements.
Most improvements are in existing footprints with exception of the Tennis Court. The Tennis Court improvements are to expand the current footprint that will have new soil disturbance adding 0.20 Acres to create a second tennis/pickleball court.
Preliminary determination of no historic properties affected.
