The Bureau of Land Management Idaho State Office held an online competitive geothermal lease sale on Sept. 9, 2025, through EnergyNet. offering eight parcels totaling nearly 20,615 acres in Elmore and Washington counties in southwest Idaho. Highest bids for each parcel have been accepted. Final results of the competitive lease sale can be found below.
