Project Description

The operator has filed a Plan of Operations to expand exploration beyond the current five acre and 1,000-ton limits. If the Plan of Operations is approved the Notice would be closed and the associated reclamation and financial guarantee requirements would be transferred to the Plan of Operations. The purpose of this action as it relates to locatable minerals is for BLM to consider the applicant’s Plan of Operations request and to prevent unnecessary or undue degradation (UUD) of public lands by operations authorized under mining laws.
