5/9/25:  The EA effort has been cancelled. The project will be re-initiated when the BLM is able to move forward. 

5/1/25:   The BLM is continuing to work on analysis of the additional route inventory. 

11/13/24:  In response to comments received on the draft EA, the BLM realized that some of the route inventory was inadvertently missing from the analysis.  The BLM is working to add the missing data and complete route evaluations for the additional routes. 

8/10/24: The comment period on the draft TMP/EA and draft Implementation Guide has closed. BLM is analyzing comments. 

6/27/24:   The BLM hosted two in-person public meetings to provide information about the proposed TMP and how to participate in the TMP planning process, on June 26 and June 27, 2024.  Thank you to everyone who attended the meetings.  We look forward to getting your input on routes that may be missing from our inventory as well as your thoughts on proposed designations. 

6/26/24:  The EA is posted and comments will be accepted for public comment. For more information, please see the news release.  

January 22 to February 21, 2024:  The public was invited to review the inventoried routes and make comments.  The BLM conducted two virtual Zoom meetings, on January 23 and 24, to provide information about the project and how to participate.  The same information was presented at both meetings.
