On August 23, 2023, the Florida Resource Management Plan was amended to identify management actions to protect the underlying values identified when Congress designated the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse Outstanding Natural Area (ONA) in 2008 (Public Law 110-229, Sec. 202, May 8, 2008).
