The BLM approved the Meadowood Farm Planning Analysis (PA) on March 25, 2003. A Notice of Intent to Prepare Meadowood Farm's PA/Environmental Assessment (EA) was published in the Federal Register on May 1, 2001. During May and June of 2001, public participation opportunities including public comment periods and public meetings were conducted for the development of issues and planning criteria.  Public involvement was reviewed, and the draft PA/EA was released for a 30-day review and public comment period during May of 2002. The Proposed PA/EA was released for a 30-day protest period and was sent to the Governor for a 60-day consistency review. The approved PA/EA and Decision Record (DR) were prepared upon resolution of all protests.
