Project Description

Travel and transportation are integral to the use and enjoyment of public lands. The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is initiating a Travel Management Plan (TMP) and Environmental Assessment (EA) analyzing motorized access of public lands in the North Lewis and Clark County Travel Management Area (TMA), which covers approximately 15,000 acres and 23 miles of inventoried routes on BLM-administered lands.

A decision to authorize the Proposed Action (Alternative C) was signed on January 16, 2025.

The Public Comment Period took place from September 9, 2022 - October 9, 2022.
