Project Description

BLM is proposing to temporarily close public lands within the Saylor Creek HMA pursuant to the Federal Land Policy and Management Act of 1976 (FLMPA), as amended, and 43 CFR §8364.1. A temporary closure of the affected land is necessary to conduct safe, efficient, and successful wild horse gather operations while ensuring humane care and treatment of all animals gathered.
