Project Description
What's New
The planning effort is complete.
The Record of Decision for the Arizona Strip Field Office Resource Management Plan (RMP or Approved Plan) was signed January 29, 2008.
Home The Arizona Strip Field Office (ASFO) is located north of Grand Canyon National Park, in northern Coconino and Mohave counties, Arizona. The ASFO contains 1,679,896 acres of BLM-administered lands; 170,165 acres of Arizona State Trust lands; and 130,962 acres of private land. The decisions in the Approved RMP apply only to the 1,679,896 acres of BLM-administered lands within the ASFO.
The Approved Plan was described as Alternative E in the Proposed Plan and Final Environmental Impact Statement (see Documents & Reports page). The Record of Decision provides a summary of protests received and clarifications made in response to protests, a brief summary of the decisions made and other alternatives considered, management considerations and rationale for the decisions, and an overview of public involvement in the planning process.
