November 16, 2023 - the public comment period for the parcel list and applied stipulations for the proposed April 2024 lease sale will be open from November 16 - December 18, 2023. To the extent you submit exhibits or attachments to any submitted public comment, you must provide a summary of the attached documents, and explain why they are important for us to consider. If the submittal fails to include the requested summary, BLM may not consider any information in the exhibits or attachments during its decision-making process.

Listed below is the tentative timeline for the Montana-Dakotas Oil and Gas Lease Sale. All documents associated with this Lease Sale are posted under the documents link on the left hand side of your screen.

*An amendment (No. 1) was made March 7, 2024 for the legal land description in parcel ND-2024-04-0729.
* An amendment (No. 2) was issued April 15, 2024 the 2nd quarter Montana-Dakotas competitive oil and gas lease sale, originally scheduled for Tuesday, April 16, 2024, is moved to Tuesday, April 30, 2024. The sale begins at 8:00 am MDT/9:00 am CDT.
*An amendment (No.3) was issued April 24, 2024 for Portions of described land in BLM North Dakota Field Office / U. S. Army Corps of Engineers Parcel No. ND-2024-04-0729 are part of CA NDM 102345 / NDMT105686021.Sale Notice language in the Agreements description of said parcel is updated.
