What's New

The BLM approved the Arkansas Planning Analysis (PA) on September 17, 2002. A Notice of Intent (NOI) to Prepare the Arkansas PA/Environmental Assessment (EA) was published in the Federal Register on September 19, 1997. The PA/EA was prepared and released for several public comment periods between November of 1999 and September of 2001. The Proposed PA/EA was released for a 30-day protest period, which ended January 13, 2002, and was sent to the Governor for a 60-day consistency review.
