Project Description

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is proposing to install vehicle barriers within and adjacent to Potholes Camp Special Recreation Management Area (SRMA) and a cattle guard within the existing roadbed. These barriers are intended to enclose the camping and parking areas to impede vehicle use from encroaching on the adjacent wetlands. These wetlands have experienced several damaging events from illegal off highway vehicle (OHV) use over recent years.
