Project Description

The proposed amendment to existing PG&E right-of-way (ROW) CACA106188411 / CACA 046997 includes the removal of approximately 1,911 ft. of existing overhead line, 3 poles and associated appurtenances.  The installation of approximately 6,161 ft. of new underground (UG) conductor and conduit as well as 10 junction boxes and 1 pad mounted transformer are proposed to be installed along the UG route.  The proposed construction would be within a 30 ft. width of the existing footprint of Spring Garden Road, Yankee Jims Road, and Log Cabin Lane. Proposed vegetation management includes 35 tree removals,13 brush removals and 1 tree pruning. Other vegetation work (e.g. mowing) will be performed to ensure site safety and reduce fuel as needed. 
The proposed ROW would be 6,161 ft. long by 30 ft. wide for a total of approximately 4.24 acres. The maximum depth of ground disturbance for the project is 10 ft.
