Project Description

On January 15, 2026, Monroe City filed an application for renewal of an existing power line under the authority of Title V of the Federal Land Policy and Management Act (FLPMA) of October 21, 1976, and provisions of regulations 43 CFR 2800. The purpose of the proposal is to continue to allow the proponent to operate and maintain a 7.2kV overhead power line that crosses lands administered by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Richfield Field Office (RFO). The currently existing power line extends for 1,330 feet across BLM-managed lands. If approved, this project would authorize the continued operation and maintenance of an existing power line on BLM land.
