Project Description

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) St. George Field Office proposes to establish a temporary community mineral materials pit, referred to as Stacked Stone Depot, located approximately 800 feet west of Sheep Bridge Road and about 0.9 miles south of State Route 9 in Washington County, Utah. The purpose of this action is to allow the public to purchase and remove approximately 1,752 pallets (estimated at 2 tons per pallet) of previously extracted and stacked stone material that was abandoned under an expired mineral materials sale contract.
