The BLM prepared a joint Environmental Assessment (EA)/Mitigated
Negative Declaration (MND) in coordination with Imperial County for the environmental
review of the proposed project. The environmental review analyzes potential
impacts from the proposed exploration activities and incorporated input
received during the public scoping period which closed on April 4, 2022.
The BLM held a virtual public meeting on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, from 4:00pm - 5:00pm PST. The meeting was informational only, a copy of the presentation has been uploaded to the Documents section of this project webpage for those who were unable to attend.
