The Public Comment period for the 2026 Second Quarter Competitive Oil & Gas Lease Sale begins on December 19, 2025, and will end on January 22, 2026.

ePlanning is undergoing a modernization that will begin on January 15, 2026 and is anticipated to be completed by January 20, 2026.  During the modernization period ePlanning will not be able to accept public comments.  To avoid conflicts with the release of the ePlanning site the public comment period will be extended by one day and will now end on January 21, 2026.

*ePlanning experienced an error accepting public participation on January 20, 2026. Due to this error we are extending the public participation period to January 22, 2026.
