01/17/2025: The BLM has selected Alternative E as the Travel Management Plan for the Henry Mountains Fremont Gorge Travel Management Area. The Decision, Finding of No Significant Impact, and the Environmental Assessment with supporting documents are located under "Documents", "Maps", and "Map Data" on the left hand side of the webpage.
9/25/2024: A public comment period on the draft Environmental Assessment (EA) was held from September 25, 2024 through October 26, 2024. The BLM is reviewing public input received and developing the final EA.
The BLM held a virtual public meeting on October 9, 2024 using Zoom. Maps, including an interactive web-map, are available under the "Maps" tab on the left pane.
The BLM released the preliminary route designation alternatives for the Henry Mountains Fremont Gorge Travel The public was encouraged to review the preliminary route inventory and designations and provide input via this page. This public input period closed June 10, 2024. A virtual public meeting was held onMay 28, 2024, where the BLM discussed the travel management area, planning process, proposed alternatives, and how to provide written comments.
