Project Description

What's New

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and National Park Service (NPS) Grand Canyon-Parashant National Monument (GCPNM) have each signed a Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) for the proposed gather plan to remove wild burros from both the Tassi-Gold Butte Herd Management Area and greater Pakoon Basin area located in the northwest corner of Mohave County, Arizona, approximately 60 miles south, southwest of St. George, Utah. The signing of the BLM Decision Record initiates a 30-day appeal period for portions of the gather plan on BLM administrated land that ends on July 30, 2025.
