The preliminary Environmental Assessment and Signed Determination Document (PEA/SDD) is now available to the public. This initiates a 30-day public comment period of the PEA. Comments can be submitted to [email protected] written comments can be mailed to BLM Stillwater Field Office: Attention Mark Mazza Assistant Field Manager at 5665 Morgan Mill Road, Carson City, NV 89701. All comments must have the following subject line – Comments on Basalt, Belleville, Little Huntoon, McBride Flat Allotments and McBride Flat Unallotted Area Grazing Permit PEA/SDD.
Comments received as a result of this public review will be considered in the development of the Final Environmental Assessment to be completed later this summer. Comments are due 30 days after receipt of this letter. Hardcopies of the documents can be attained upon request, questions and additional informationabout the PEA/SDD can be directed to Mark Mazza (775) 885-6003 or [email protected]or the BLM Front Desk (775) 885-6000.
