The creation and the maintenance of this system is authorized in accordance with provisions of the Federal Land Policy and Management Act, Government Performance and Results Act (GPRA) of 1993, Federal Acquisition Streamlining Act (FASA) of 1994, and the Taylor Grazing Act.

ePlanning is a web-based Department of the Interior (DOI), Bureau of Land Management (BLM), application for providing the public access to ongoing land use planning and National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) information via the NEPA Register. NEPA Register visitors can review and comment on plans and project documents. The ePlanning Privacy Impact Assessment describes the types of personally identifiable information (PII) collected for NEPA comment submissions.

Before including your address, phone number, email address, or other PII in your comment, you should be aware that your entire comment – including your personal identifying information – may be made publicly available at any time. Do not include any PII, trade secrets or confidential commercial or financial information in the text of your comment that you do not wish to be made publicly available. While you can ask us in your comment to withhold your personal identifying information from public review, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to do so.
