The Secretary's decision is the "No Action" alternative or Alternative A of the EIS. The data for Alternative A did not change and you may access that data by downloading the "Alternatives" geodatabase, under 'Draft EIS data' heading.

This page provides GIS datasets created by the Bureau of Land Management(BLM) as part of the ANCSA(D)(1) Withdrawals planning process.
 

1/3/24: GIS data for areas 
1) that have federal subsistence priority and 
2) may lose subsistence priority are available in the "D1_Withdrawal_Subsistence" geodatabase in the 'Draft EIS Data' section below.

12/15/2023:  GIS datasets used for the alternatives in the ANCSA 17(d)(1) Withdrawals Draft EIS are in the "DEIS_Alternatives" zipped geodatabase below.  
Data about mineral status and used in the Reasonably Foreseeable Development (RFD) are within the "Minerals_RFD" geodatabase.
Data not created by BLM will not be distributed, rather the source locations are listed in the "DEIS_Original_Data_Sources.xlsx".
 

2/28/2023: Datasets for the initial "D1 Withdrawal EIS Evaluation Area"  and the "D1 Withdrawals within the Evaluation Area"  
from the project interactive web map are available for download below. 
 

To provide different file format options, a zipped geodatabase and zipped shapefiles are being made available, data are identical within both. 
These may be subject to change over the duration of the planning process.
