How to Get Involved
Orientation Meeting
The BLM will hold a virtual public orientation meeting to provide information about the National
Environmental Policy Act process and public comment period for the Lava Ridge Wind Project draft
Environmental Impact Statement (EIS). There will be a presentation that explains the structure of
the draft EIS, available supplementary materials, and how to submit a comment, followed by a
question-and-answer session.

Open House Meetings
The BLM will also hold both in-person and virtual open houses as agency Covid-related policy
allows, providing opportunities to learn more about the analysis, speak with resource specialists
and agency managers and provide comments.

The virtual public meetings will be hosted using the Zoom webinar application. The Zoom app is free
to download and use. The app can be accessed on your computer, smartphone, or tablet. You
can also access the Zoom meeting using your web browser. There will be a call-in number for those
who want to listen to the meeting by phone. Please see additional information below for “Attending
