To submit a public scoping comment on the preliminary parcel list for the September 2026 lease sale in the DNA (Attachment 1), click the green “Participate Now” button on the left side of this webpage. The BLM will accept comments until 7:00 p.m. Mountain Standard Time on January 15, 2026. Please plan accordingly, as scoping comments will not be accepted after 7:00 pm as the ePlanning system will be going down for updates starting at that time and will only intermittently be available to the public until the new version goes live on January 20, 2026.

The preliminary parcel list is not subject to protests or appeals.

Before including your address, phone number, e-mail address, or other personal identifying information in your public scoping comment, you should be aware that your entire comment – including your personal identifying information – may be made publicly available at any time. While you can ask us in your comment to withhold your personal identifying information from public review, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to do so.
