On December 11, 2025, in accordance with the Congressional Review Act, 5 U.S.C. §§ 801-808, the President signed a joint resolution into law disapproving the November 2024 Central Yukon Record of Decision and Approved Resource Management Plan. Public Law 119-50. A rule nullified under the Congressional Review Act must be treated as though it had never taken effect. As such, the 2024 RMP Revision should be treated as though it never took effect and the Utility Corridor RMP, dated January 11, 1991, the Central Yukon RMP, dated September 26, 1986, and the 1981 Southwest Management Framework Plan are in effect for the Central Yukon Planning Area.
